The deadline for all Room Parent applications have been extended to tomorrow (Friday, September 30) at 5pm.
ALSO - we have added Room Parents for Specialists, Special Education Teachers, and Special Area Providers to better support the PTO teachers and staff. These Room Parent positions are available at the bottom of the SignUpGenius link below.
Room parents help teachers, class parents, and students in the following ways:
Organize an in-class party before winter break
Coordinate teacher appreciation gifts
Organize an in-class, end of year class party
Provide additional class supplies as needed in collaboration with teachers and our “Helping Hands” coordinator
Getting volunteers to the class to help with projects
Please note:
Once all applications are received, our PTO Room Parent Coordinator, in conjunction with the main office, will randomly select 2 room parents for each room.
In an effort to include and encourage new parent volunteers, the PTO maintains yearly records of room parents and endeavors to draft individuals that did not have the opportunity to be a room parent the proceeding year.
