Fall 2018 Enrichment: Green City Growers visits 3rd Grade

Farmer Galen from Green City Growers came in today to teach the students different ways to identify different herbs through senses via eye sight, smell, and touch. Students were given a packet of pictures and names of herbs along with seven different herbs in a tray.

Farmer Galen taught the students that herbs are used for a variety of things, such as cooking, scenting, and medicinal uses (stomachache, headache).
