Discovery Museum visited the 3rd graders and conducted a Dinosaur workshop! The students acted as paleontologists as they excavated from a mock dig site, unearthing fossils!
They also compared the bodies of different dinosaurs in order to build an understanding of differences and similarities, heredity and variation.
This program supports the Massachusetts curriculum frameworks and STEM initiatives.
